Ever wanted an opportunity to speak with someone at Foreign Ownership, maybe get an inside look to their function? We are happy to welcome Natalie Bavin, Team Lead with Foreign Ownership. Join us for our Lunch n' Learn on May 21, 2026, and ask some questions and get some answers.

Natalie is the Team Lead for Specialty Services within the Land Titles and Surveys group, overseeing three key business areas: Foreign Ownership of Land Administration, Mines and Minerals, and the Historical Records Team.

In her 18 years with the Government of Alberta, her initial position as a Land Titles Analyst provided the foundation for career path in public service. Over nearly two decades, she has contributed her expertise across multiple areas of Land Titles, including Mines and Minerals, foreign ownership of land administration, front counter operations, providing system support, and acting as a product owner for the new land titles system, ARLO.

Before joining the Government of Alberta, Natalie worked for several years as a real estate conveyancer in law offices across the province, giving her a strong foundation in land transactions and client service.
